Which belt style is right for you?

Start with what you'll wear it with, then pick a width.

• For jeans: Most belts for jeans are 1.2 to 1.8 inches (3 to 4.5 cm) wide, and your jeans size points you to your belt size. See our women's leather belts for jeans.
• Wide and waist belts: At 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 cm), they cinch your waist over a dress, a coat or knitwear. Shop our wide belts and waist belts for women.

Is it real leather?

Nearly all our belts are real leather: full-grain, premium leather, suede or cow hair. A few are chain, elastic, woven or fabric. Each product page names the leather and says so if the belt is handmade in the Netherlands.

Pip, our best seller with over 1,200 reviews, is full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather, Leather Working Group certified and handmade in the Netherlands. Alie, Julia and Sofie are full-grain, vegetable-tanned Italian leather, also Leather Working Group certified.

How do I find my size?

Measure a belt you already own, from where the leather folds at the buckle to the hole you use most, then pick the nearest size. Wear yours higher, at your natural waist? Measure your body there instead. Our sizes run from XS (75 cm) to XXL (110 cm), 5 cm apart, and the full chart is in our belt size guide.

Questions

How do I care for a leather belt?

Keep it in a dust bag when you're not wearing it, away from strong sun and damp. Rub small marks gently with clean hands, and if it gets wet, let it air dry with no heat. Now and then, treat smooth leather with a little neutral leather balm. It'll soften and pick up character the more you wear it.

What does made to order mean, and how long does it take?

We make the belt for you after you order, and it normally ships 3 to 4 weeks from your order date. Their names start with "Made to Order", and you'll find them all in our made-to-order belts. Belts in stock ship in 1 to 3 business days.

What if I'm between 2 sizes?

Take the larger one. Not every belt comes in every size, so check the size menu first. Some of our widest waist belts, like Liv, Prya and Rena, stop at L/XL (100 cm), and wrap and tie belts come in one size.

What if it doesn't fit?

Swap it for another size within 30 days of receiving it; your first exchange is free. For made-to-order belts, the 30 days start the day your order ships. Prefer a refund? That works too, minus a $5 return label, as long as the belt is unworn with its tags and original packaging. Everything's in our returns and exchanges policy.
