Why we call it Florin

The florin, or florijn, was the currency of the Netherlands from the 17th century until the euro replaced it in 2002. It is also known as the guilder, from gulden, the middle Dutch word for golden.

Our leather goods are designed and finished in the Netherlands, so it seemed like the right name for the currency of our rewards program.
